A polygraph, popularly referred to as a lie detector (test), is a credibility assessment device or procedure that measures and records several physiological indicators such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and skin conductivity while a person is asked and answers a series of questions.  It is administered by highly trained and certified examiners.

A polygraph exam can be very intimidating.  Part of the exam is an interview to review the content that will be covered so that the client being tested knows exactly what to expect and what will be asked before the exam begins.
